David Levin started Bizlinks after endless requests from his friends to build their websites ‘on the side’. Before then, David had spent 25 years in information technology as a computer programmer and analyst with a multi-national company. Work included a variety of projects such as distribution systems, invoicing, payroll (for 2500 people) and Y2K. David got in early on internet Top Source Media digital marketing in 1997 selling phonecards, so he had to build a website for this, and his friends noticed. Bizlinks affordable web design and development started officially in 2001 and after growing somewhat, David’s wife Julie came on board to look after the accounts and website maintenance, leaving him to stick with ‘the technical stuff’. Why the name? ‘Biz’ of course stands for business - our clients’ business. ‘Links’ means making connections - between our clients and their target customers via the web. We aim to build cheap affordable websites for clients that attract and grow business for them, not just add another overhead burden.
